Stick Bound Book

In this class we will be using a simple binding technique to join loose leaf paper. This type of book allows for artwork, printed material, or photographs and other add-ins. There is room in the spine to add all kinds of content. Though the binding is simple, the method allows for a lot of creativity. Adding unusual objects in the ribbon bind is the favorite feature of this book! Get creative and add an object at the spine such as branches, paint brushes, chop sticks, faux flowers or greenery...think outside the box! Materials will be provided, though you may want to bring your own content and/or supplies (ribbon or objects to tie into the spine).
