Utilizing Book as Material

This class focuses on the different ways that participants can upwork books, from the pages inside to the cover outside, to create new and unique pieces. Each participant will be guided through 3 different projects and will come away from the class with a better understanding of how to repurpose found books. No experience is necessaty, ages 15 and up.

• X-Acto knife and extra blades
• Box cutter
• Cutting mat
• Scissors
• Graphite pencil
• Eraser
• Gluestick
• Pens, markets, colored pencils, etc.
• Acrylic paint (optional) and brushes
• Oil pastels (optional
• Found book
• Collage material (optional)
• Scrapbooking material (optional)
• Loose leaf paper
