Wildflower Pop-Up Sampler: Mountain

05/07/2024 06:00 PM - 08:00 PM ET

Description

The U.S.—with all its diverse ecosystems—is bursting with wildflowers of all colors and forms. This workshop series explores 12 flower structures from four different ecosystems. This fourth workshop in the series focuses on mountain flowers: heartleaf arnica, california poppy, and sego lily. You’ll build and mount your three pop-up blooms into one tidy gate-fold structure using a pre-cut kit—all you have to do is assemble and enjoy! And because each session of the series is independent of the others, you can participate in any or all.*

On all classes:

This class will be recorded and available for 2-3  weeks after the last class in the series.

Supplies needed by participants:

• ruler

• self-healing mat

• xacto knife

NOTE:

We set our pricing to pay our instructors a fair wage and cover materials, but one of FBAC’s goals is to give access to the experience of all things bookbinding and printing to anyone who is interested. If you or someone you know would like to participate in a class but do not have the funding please reach out to contact@frederickbookarts.org and we will do what we can so no one has to miss out on the experiences we offer.
