Join Lauren G. Koch to explore the world of multi-block, reduction relief printmaking. In this workshop, you'll delve into the fascinating realm of carving and printing multiple layers, unlocking the potential of each block to unveil intricate, layered artworks.
As an experienced artist and educator, Lauren will lead you through the step-by-step process, teaching the techniques of multi-block reduction printing. Discover the art of storytelling through layers, bringing your ideas to life with each carefully carved block.
Students are encouraged to bring reference materials for design ideas they would like to work with - to improve flow of class; however, these aren't necessary to participate.

If you or someone you know would like to participate in a class but do not have the funding please reach out to contact@frederickbookarts.org and we will do what we can so no one has to miss out on the experiences we offer.
