Registering for Open Studio will allow you to reserve the equivalent amount of time on our equipment. These reservations are made during our Open Studio Hours. Please consult the Open Studio page of our website for up-to-date availability.

Once you have purchased your session(s), you are free to add your name on our Reservation Calendar within any available time slot equal to the number of sessions purchased. The calendar is divided by department and equipment. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. You must be certified in the use of a piece of equipment before reserving it.

Sessions are considered prepayment for a reservation or can be used for entry to any Open Studio with available space. Reservations must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance, either in writing to eric.groff@fredbookartscenter.org or by phone to 301-228-9816, in order to leave a session unfulfilled. Sessions cancelled within 24 hours are subject to consideration for credit toward a future session, but not guaranteed.
